Headingley Carnegie Stadium unveils new menus

One of the UK’s best loved sporting venues has unveiled a new fixtures list – prepared by its kitchen, not by its coaches.
Headingley Carnegie Stadium, St Michael’s Lane, Headingley, Leeds, is home to Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos rugby club and is also one of the county’s leading conference and event venues.
Now, as it prepares to welcome not just sports fans but business delegates and partygoers for the 2014 season, head chef Stef Butler has revealed a range of innovative new menus showcasing the best in local cuisine.

Final line-up for Outbreak Spring Festival announced

The final line-up for the electrifying Outbreak Spring Festival at the Ricoh Arena has been announced.
DJs MK (Marc Kinchen), Shadow Child, Kevin Saunderson and Alexis Raphael have been added to the exciting line-up which includes Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer and Hot Since 82.
American MK whose recent remix of the Storm Queen song, HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Look_Right_Through"Look Right Through, went to No. 1 on the HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_Singles_Chart"UK Singles Chart will be joined by fellow American Kevin Saunderson who produced the legendary Inner City ‘Good Life’.

Olympic Champion and One Show Presenter to close Sustainable Events Summit

London 2012 Olympic champion and slalom canoeist Etienne Stott MBE will join Lucy Siegle, best known for her presenting role on the One Show, for a panel discussion to close the Sustainable Events Summit 2014.  Lucy Siegle, who also created the Observer Ethical Awards, specialises in environmental and social justice issues and ethical consumerism.

AIME Welcome Reception to pop-up in secret location

The location for the highly anticipated Asia‐Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) Welcome Reception is veiled in secrecy and will only be revealed on Friday, 14 February, Karen Bolinger, Chief Executive Officer of the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) announced today.
Taking place on 17 February, the night before AIME begins, Ms Bolinger explained that with thanks to the creative genius of Peter Jones Special Events, the Welcome Reception will literally pop‐up at an unexpected site.
