IACC joins Events Industry Council Panel at UN Climate Conference COP25

Last week (12th December), IACC CEO Mark Cooper joined a panel discussion focused on sustainability within the meetings and events industry at the United Nations Climate Conference COP25 in Madrid
The panel, ‘Bringing People Together for Climate: The Role of the Events Industry’, included speakers Mariela McIlwraith, Director of Industry Advancement, Events Industry Council; Yalmaz Siddiqui Vice President, Corporate Sustainability at MGM Resorts International and Marta Muñoz from the Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition (MITECO).

The ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers) Awards have announced they will be held at P&J Live, The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA) on Monday 7th December 2020.
The UK’s leading professional body for Association Conference and Not-for-profit Event Organisation will host their seventh ABPCO Excellence Awards at P&J Live, TECA.

Aerospace giant Safran selects Gloucester Rugby as primary venue for corporate training events

Gloucester Rugby has confirmed a long-term relationship with Safran for future training events.  The international hi-tech aerospace company has chosen Gloucester Rugby following recent investment in the stadium as well as the venue’s dedication to meetings and events on non-match days.

Stadium Experience welcomes Charlton Athletic FC

Charlton Athletic Football Club
Stadium Experience has welcomed Charlton Athletic Football Club as its newest member. 
The Valley Stadium, which has 200 free car parking spaces and is situated just a 15 minute train ride from central London, is the 10th stadium venue in the London area to join the Stadium Experience consortium.
