Icebar to open at The Linq Promenade this November

ICEBAR, a brand-new project created by Noel Bowman of Minus5 Ice Experience, will open this November at The LINQ Promenade. Next to the Promenade’s fountain, ICEBAR will offer the unforgettable frozen ambience and frosty cocktails familiar to fans of Minus5, while also featuring new, immersive features such as dynamic projection mapping.

Record-breaking month brings over 3,000 people to York’s Lakeside Conference Centre

 The Lakeside Conference Centre, based just outside York, has had a surge of events seeing it record its busiest events and conferencing month since its launch over 10 years ago.   
The conference centre based at the National Agri-Food Innovation Campus, welcomed more than 3,000 people in June to a range of events, exhibitions and conferences, including its first large-scale public weekend event.

‘Smart Principality’: Monaco becomes first European state with 5G and launches driverless E-Shuttle and electric ‘MonaBikes’ for tourists and residents

Monaco Telecom has announced that full 5G coverage of Monegasque territory has been achieved.
The 5G roll-out is the first pillar of the Extended Monaco programme led by Prince Albert II’s government, which seeks to bring Monaco into the digital age.
Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer of Monaco, explains the enormous change that 5G will create: "5G is not simply an improved version of 4G, it represents a paradigm shift. Whereas all of the previous generations focused on telecommunications and exchanges between individuals, 5G is shaping the integration of digital technology into every part of our society and our economy.
