Bruges welcomes prestigious conference UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism in 2020

During the 5th edition of the UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism in San Sebastian in 2019, Flanders and the City of Bruges have officially been presented as host for the 6th edition of this top conference in 2020.
The Forum is organized by UNWTO and the Basque Culinary Centre (BCC) alternately in San Sebastian, Spain, and another host country.

UKH welcomes the Government’s decision to extend VE Day licensing hours

UKHospitality has welcomed the Government’s decision to extend licensing hours to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
UKHospitality Chief Executive Kate Nicholls said: “The 75th anniversary of VE Day will be an historic moment for the country. People will want to mark the occasion in all sorts of ways and pubs are often the focal point for community celebrations and acts of commemoration.

Former host of the British Masters and HSBC Championship venue are chosen to host 59club’s glitzy ceremony
Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club will welcome 59club clients from across Europe on the 12-13th March 2020. An extension to the ceremony will see The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa host the awards to recognise excellence across Asia, The Middle East & Africa on the 20th April 2020, as the Service ‘Excellence’ Awards are split for the first time.
