With over 230 years’ experience of hosting inspirational events, Assembly Rooms Edinburgh has introduced a solution to help meet the growing need for hybrid events during the current climate and beyond.  
Continuing the trend for multi-platform events, the team at Assembly Rooms Edinburgh has seen an increase in demand for virtual events. In line with government guidelines and launching alongside a new user-friendly website, the venue has developed its hybrid events offering to bridge the gap between physical and online events.

Brighton Music Conference and British Airways I360 support #Wemakeevents with exclusive DJ sets from The Viewing Tower

On Wednesday 30th September, Brighton’s iconic beachfront viewing tower, the British Airways i360 will support the #wemakeevents activation in collaboration with the Brighton Music Conference. Having morphed from a hybrid to a virtual event, after the latest restrictions, BMC will support the campaign, with DJ’s Darius Syrossian and Alan Fitzpatrick performing on the glowing red pod from from 6.30-9.30pm with their sets being recorded and available for everyone to watch on Thursday as part of their event line up.

The Neon Museum receives conservation grants for sign collection

The Neon Museum
The Neon Museum has received grants for the upkeep and preservation of the sign collection in the Neon Boneyard. As an open-air museum, the Boneyard’s collection faces challenges traditional indoor museums do not encounter. To address this matter, The Neon Museum conducted a Collections Assessment Plan (CAP) in 2018, funded in part by the Institute of Museums and Library Services (IMLS).

The Hungarian event industry is prepared to host large-scale MICE events

A unified COVID safety protocol handbook will be compiled for the meeting Destination Budapest
On 10 September, the #PowerOfLiveEvents initiative left the virtual space and converted into an all-day live conference with support from the newly-formed Budapest Convention Bureau and the Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre and with the cooperation of the industry associations. In the presence of hundreds of participants populating the conference room of Puskás Arena, in the framework of a wide-ranging industry collaboration, the safety protocol and COVID handbook for business events that play an important role in the relaunch of the Hungarian economy and the life of Budapest was presented. However, minimizing risks does not mean that we should give up the experiences and creative solutions provided by live events.
