The event will showcase the first live preview of micebook 2.0 and is the first major MICE industry event to take place at the Shoreditch venue for creative entrepreneurs which opens its doors in May.
The preview will be supported by leading event brands Sternberg Clarke Entertainment and creative production agency Hawthorn. Mobile and web communications will be sent via the Event Dashboard app. With demand for tickets to the industry networking event already high, the micebook team is inviting leading buyers and supporting suppliers to register their interest at http://mustbeonit.com/preview-event/
In an evening that celebrates setting trends and creativity, the micebook team has also invited students from the nearby London College of Fashion, UAL to display their designs. MICE industry brands are being invited to support the evening and students via a series of evening experiences with prizes for both attendees and a winning design from one of the students.
micebook founder Chetan Shah said: “micebook helps event planners design creative events with maximum impact. Our preview event is all about looking to the future – with a new approach, new venue and a new community within our industry. As champions of cutting edge design, we’re also proud to be showcasing the talents of students from the London College of Fashion.”
“Not only will guests see the first preview of micebook 2.0, they’ll also be the first to experience a hot new venue and a first taste of the cuisine of New York chef Marcus Samuelsson. Our welcome reception takes place at his new Red Rooster restaurant, days before its official opening.”
Red Rooster will be the venue for the arrival reception, which takes place from 6pm-7.30pm. The restaurant brings a taste of Harlem to East London, blending Southern soul food with the diverse culinary traditions of New York and Northern Europe.
The main Preview Event from 7.30pm, will be the first major industry event to take place in the new venue’s The Curtain Ballroom. The Curtain will be a new home for creative entrepreneurs. The 120 room hotel features a rooftop pool and brasserie, co-working space and 6,000 square feet of event space. Curtain Members have access to all hotel areas, as well as additional members-only club, restaurant, bar and live performance spaces.
