Spaces takes off in UK with five new sites announced for 2017

Amsterdam-born creative workspace pioneer Spaces is to significantly increase its UK presence  in 2017.
The company was founded in the Netherlands in 2006 by Martijn Roordink and Frederique Keuning and opened its first UK location in Mappin House, a striking Edwardian building just off Oxford Street, in London, last year.  A second location, on Chalfont Park in Gerrards Cross, opened this month.

Further openings have already been confirmed for the coming months, which will bring Spaces’ reach to 152, 276 sq ft in the UK.  Glasgow and Liverpool will see Spaces locations opening this February and the South East is to see three new locations in 2017; sites at The Causeway, Teddington, Globe Park in Marlow and Park Royal in West London.

Spaces is today announcing it will be adding to this roster by  opening two more centres in London and three in the North.  Globally, the workspace pioneer now has a presence in Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore and Mexico and will soon be opening workspace in India, France, Switzerland  and Israel.

Spaces provides a creative working environment with a unique entrepreneurial ethos. Its workspaces offer an inspiring environment designed to integrate lifestyle into work, and members are encouraged to build their networks and connect.   Facilities are built around the concept of community and shared ideas and the bright, design-led environments offer a range of workspace on flexible terms, designed to meet members’ diverse needs.  This includes shared space, breakout networking areas, meeting rooms and offices.

Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces comments: “People are far more productive and successful in an enjoyable, social and inspiring work environment and we’re rolling out our network to cater to this demand for new ways of working.

“What differentiates Spaces is the variety of work environments on offer, combined with our unique, community-driven ethos.  Our members are inspired to connect and get creative – and it’s a model enthusing workers across the UK and beyond.”
