Blenheim Palace extends Orangery’s midweek availability

Blenheim Palace Orangery
Blenheim Palace is pleased to announce that its iconic Orangery venue will be available for corporate and banqueting hire mid-week. From 3rd January – 8th April 2017 the space opens up to business bookings.
Already available for hire during the evenings, the Orangery, which is catered by luxury suppliers Searcys, makes an ideal space for corporate events, product launches, banquet-style lunches and celebrations.

Head of Hospitality Catering, Chris Rees says: “We are pleased to welcome corporate and banqueting bookings midweek in the New Year. Extending the venue hire options of this space means that we can offer more flexibility to our business clientele.”

Recent product launches include the Bank of England’s unveiling of the new £5 note. Presenting to a group of colleagues, journalists and professionals Mark Carney unveiled the new plastic note featuring the profile of Sir Winston Churchill. The launch was followed by Afternoon Tea for 300 delegates in the iconic setting.

Alongside the Orangery, the Palace boasts numerous venue options for up to 500 guests in the evening; from a private dinner in the Marlborough Room to a three-course supper in the Saloon, the stunning spaces make for an unforgettable event.

The Great Hall is a magnificent entrance room which rises 67 feet to the ceiling painted by James Thornhill. It provides the perfect setting for a grand dinner or drinks reception, and can be used with the Saloon to create an area for both drinks and dinner. For an all-round corporate banqueting experience the Great Hall can also be used as a starting point for a private tour of the Palace.

The Long Library is one of the longest rooms in any British stately home. The beautiful space is home to 10,000 books and the magnificent Willis organ. With spectacular views over the Water Terraces and acres of 'Capability' Brown Parkland and lake, this event space is perfect for enjoying a fine dining experience following pre-dinner drinks in the Great Hall & Saloon.
