Airbnb, Marriott and Egencia confirmed to speak at Business Travel Summit

5-6 October, 2016, NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam

Airbnb’s head of business travel for international markets, Arnaldo Munoz, has been confirmed to speak at the first Business Travel Summit, which takes place on 5-6 October at the NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam.

Arnaldo Munoz is a panelist on Five Trends That Are Shaping Business Travel alongside Egencia’s director of sales, Carl Wilhelm van Kerve Bath. The first-day session at this brand new event for travel buyers in Benelux and the Nordics will look at the role of consumerisation, personalisation, automation, authenticity and connectivity in business travel.

“The world of travel is changing. Business travel is becoming less about being a road warrior and more about mixing business with leisure. Airbnb for Business makes it easy to travel for work without sacrificing the comforts of home. In my session I am looking forward to introducing Airbnb for Business and why it is a great alternative for both business travellers and travel managers alike,” said Arnaldo Munoz.

Also confirmed to speak at Business Travel Summit Amsterdam are Rene Mooren, Marriott’s Vice President of Sales, Europe, and Victor van Toll, founder of Dutch car sharing platform SnappCar.

Marriott’s Rene Mooren will present How Do My Suppliers Decide On a Price? With properties and carriers constantly setting and changing fares, rates and fees from market to market, property to property, Rene Mooren’s session will help senior business travel buyers understand what market factors affect their decision-making and how they can get maximum value for money.

Victor van Toll founded SnappCar in 2011. The company aims to decrease the number of cars in Europe by 1% within two years. At Business Travel Summit, Victor van Toll will lead a panel called How to Include the Sharing Economy in Your Travel Programme, which will help buyers work with sharing economy suppliers to drive down costs and delight travellers while still retaining control and the highest levels of traveller care.

“Collaborative consumption is here to stay. Just as personal travel and mobility, business travel will fundamentally change. I’m looking forward to sharing my views and ideas on how to seize the opportunities that come along with the sharing economy and how to deal with peer2peer sharing initiatives as an alternative for the traditional offerings,” said Victor van Tol, CEO and Co-Founder, SnappCar.

Business Travel Summit Amsterdam is a new conference and exhibition from the organisers of the market-leading Business Travel Show specifically for travel managers and buyers from across the Nordic and Benelux regions. It takes place on 5-6 October 2016 at the NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.
