NFL hit International Series heights at The Gherkin

NFL International Series players at The Gherkin
The NFL's International Series Games always hit the heights in London and this season's preview was no different as the stars from teams coming to the U.K this autumn mixed with fans at 30 St Mary Axe - better known as the Gherkin.
The exclusive sky-high surroundings in the City of London were graced by players from the Cincinnati Bengals, the Indianapolis Colts, the Washington Redskins and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The mega stars in attendance at the Gherkin, where many of the corporate tickets were snapped up for the autumn series of matches at Wembley and Twickenham, included Britain's own NFL Super Bowl Champion, Osi Umenyiora.

Osi was joined by stateside legends such as Dwayne Allen (Tight End, Indianapolis Colts), Denard Robinson (Running Back, Jacksonville Jaguars), Domata Peko (Defensive Tackle, Cincinnati Bengals), Carlos Dunlap (Defensive End, Cincinnati Bengals), DeAngelo Hall (Safety, Washington Redskins) and Chris Baker (Defensive End, Washington Redskins) who talked about their excitement to play in London this autumn.

Alistair Kirkwood, Managing Director of NFL UK said: "This was the perfect setting for our NFL International Series Games preview and it was inspiring to see so many of the British fans mixing with some of the legends of the NFL. The players were clearly impressed by the passion that exists for the game in this country. We cannot wait for the autumn matches which create so much excitement not only in the UK but across the U.S and around the world”.

The NFL International Series Games will be played on October 2nd, 2016 at Wembley Stadium between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts; on October 23rd, 2016 at Twickenham between the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams and then again at Wembley on October 30th, 2016 when the Washington Redskins will take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Since 2007 more than 1.1m fans have packed Wembley Stadium in the 14 matches played in the NFL International Series Games producing an average attendance of more than 83,000.

The official hospitality programme provides a wonderful range of dining and entertainment options combined with top tickets to the game suitable for both business and leisure.
