From Home of Rugby to NFL Base, Twickenham unveils American Football Pitch

Twickenham unveils American Football Pitch
Twickenham’s iconic rugby posts have been replaced and transformed into an American Football pitch, as part of a preview, ahead of the NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New York Giants at Twickenham on Sunday 23 October.

This autumn will see the return of the NFL International Series to London. Two of the most high profile teams  – The L.A Rams and the New York Giants – will be participating in the first ever NFL game at the world-renowned Twickenham Stadium, whilst at Wembley Stadium, the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Indianapolis Colts on 02 October and then the Washington Redskins take on the Cincinnati Bengals to round off the series in an epic battle on 30 October.

As part of the NFL’s regular season programme these games are highly competitive as well as offering some of the biggest names in the game to a wider european audience. The games are not just for the aficionado, with an authentic ‘tailgate’ experience outside the stadiums, and on field entertainment before the game, it certainly offers something ‘different’.

Interest in the 2016 International Series has been as high as ever, with general admission tickets to all the games selling out quickly, however fans can still enjoy all the action through the NFL’s range of hospitality offers – combining the best match day tickets with fine dining and private areas in which to relax pre and post game - perfect for entertaining clients individually or as part of larger family groups.  All venues offer a range of entertaining options, from tables in a shared restaurant to your own private box.
