EVCOM first networking event of 2016 a huge success

EVCOM first networking event of 2016
Tuesday 12th January saw EVCOM hold New Year New Business, its first networking night of 2016 at the Barbican.
This annual winter networking was an informal evening for members and their guests from across the industry to mix and network together in a unique environment - the fabulous Barbican Conservatory – a hidden treasure in the heart of London and home to a tropical oasis.

The event attracted more than 120 events and digital communication professionals.

Guests at the event had a very relaxed evening and many have commented on the ambience at the venue and the business opportunities available:
"I just wanted to say how much OCP enjoyed the EVCOM new year drinks last night. It was great to talk so many receptive people and so it was a very productive evening!" - Caroline Yearsley – OCP.

"Great to see you last night. The event was good and well attended, great venue too." - Simon Banks - Tallboy Communications.

“Thank you so much for a great networking event last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it!” – Samme Allen – SECC.

“Thanks for a great evening at the EVCOM drinks in a fabulous location - never been to the Conservatory before.” – Caroline Jackson – SixThree Comms.

“I have made some good connections already as a result of last night.” – Andrew Newman, Pukka Films.

Steve Garvey, Executive Chairman of EVCOM commented, ‘EVCOM is working harder this year to make our members businesses even more successful, and part of this plan is to bring together all sections of the membership – corporate clients, agencies, venues and destinations, suppliers and freelancers.  Looking around the room this is exactly what we have achieved for our first major networking opportunity of the New Year.’
