Prestige perks from the UK's top venues

Corporate clients, who book events at some of the UK’s top venues, are to be rewarded with a choice of tempting treats.
From January through to 31 March 2016, business bookers will be invited to add one of four, complimentary perks to their daily delegate packages at some of the country’s leading sports stadia, museums and tourist attractions.

The perks, which range from discounts and upgrades, to complimentary refreshments and even behind-the-scenes tours, are the brainchild of Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, which manages conferencing and banqueting at a portfolio of venues.

Among the perks on offer at historic Knebworth House, Hertfordshire, is a £250 voucher against a future conference booking, while Ascot Racecourse and the Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Leeds, are both offering behind-the-scenes tours, for those keen to find out more about these famous venues.

Meanwhile, Scotland’s Hampden Park stadium, Glasgow, is tempting fans of the beautiful game with access to the Scottish Football Museum’s Hall of Fame and Dundas Castle, Edinburgh, is popping the cork for an end-of-event sparkling wine tipple.

Sporting venues across England and Scotland are also taking part with stadia such as Aberdeen FC’s Pittodrie, Newcastle United’s St James’ Park, Brighton’s Amex and Huddersfield’s John Smith’s stadium, Huddersfield, all offering upgrades on refreshments.

These can range from hot bacon rolls for early birds attending morning meetings to hot and cold buffets, as an alternative to working, soup and sandwich, lunches.

And some of Edinburgh’s most prestigious attractions, including the National Museum of Scotland, the Royal College of Physicians, The Merchant’s Hall and the Assembly Rooms, are giving sweet-toothed clients a special incentive to book, by offering sweet treats, such as cakes, chocolate bars and mini desserts.

Other Prestige Perks, available at venues such as the Apex and Athenaeum, Bury St Edmunds, include a complimentary PA system, and discounts on DDR rates for large group bookings and upgraded delegate stationary.

“What better way to ring in the New Year and banish the January blues than by giving our valued corporate clients a choice of little luxuries,” said Natasha Carr, UK Venue & Events Marketing Manager, at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events.

“We hope our Prestige Perks, which are available right through until March, will make business even more of a pleasure.”
