LSO St Luke’s to host Ashden Sustainable School Awards

LSO St Luke’s
LSO St Luke’s today announces it has won the contract to host the first ever Ashden Sustainable School Awards on 21st October 2015.
The event recognises the efforts and achievements of schools across the UK in making their buildings and grounds more sustainable and integrating sustainability into their curriculum. The evening award ceremony will welcome over 200 guests to the venue’s Jerwood Hall where visitors will be treated to a drinks and canapé reception.

Alex Green, Schools Programme Manager at Ashden, says: “We’re really pleased to be working with LSO St Luke’s for our first ever Ashden Sustainable School Awards. It seems particularly appropriate to be hosting an Awards ceremony which recognises young innovators in the field of green energy in a place that’s so well known for its educational excellence.”

Alison Thompson LSO St Luke’s Centre Manager says: “We are delighted to have been chosen to host the first Ashden Sustainable School Awards. The restoration of our Grade 1 listed building had sustainability at its heart and as a venue we strive to reduce our impact on the environment through our operational practices and the management of our building systems.”
