Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines & Changi Airport Group showcase their latest MICE product

Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Changi Airport Group (CAG) are collaborating to showcase the latest products and experiences targeted at M&I groups as well as incentive schemes for travel trade and corporates who are planning and organizing trips to Singapore.

Be in Singapore 2 (BEiS2) and Singapore MICE Advantage Programme (SMAP)
BEiS2 aims to provide a customized level of support for corporates and organizations who are considering staging a variety of events in Singapore from senior management meetings to high profile incentive groups and corporate activities.

SMAP, a tripartite collaboration among STB, SIA and CAG, provides organizers with exclusive privileges and support covering marketing, provision of maps and collaterals, complimentary welcome arrival desks at Changi Airport, assistance in venue recommendations and facilitation of introductions with various vendors and suppliers; and financial grants as well as complimentary and/or preferential rates for airfare and accommodation for site inspections.

Applications for SMAP are welcome from now until December 31, 2016 for events taking place by December 31, 2017. STB’s Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB) group, which is the lead agency championing business travel in Singapore, assist event organizers, corporations and association in navigating Singapore’s end-to-end MICE ecosystem of venue and facilities providers and industry partners.

CAG-SIA Incentive for M&I groups travel to and through Singapore
For all new MICE bookings to Singapore made on SIA and SilkAir from August 5, 2015 to October 31, 2015 for travel before January 1 2016, the organization will receive a travel incentive per participant ranging between SGD 20 to SGD 25. This travel incentive can be used towards their next MICE travel on SIA and SilkAir to any destination for travel before January 1, 2016. Eligibility and conditions can be enquired with SIA and SilkAir.

“We are highly committed to promote Singapore as a travel hub and a destination of choice among business and MICE travelers in the Philippines,” said Carol Ong, General Manager, Singapore Airlines (Philippines). “And now with the newly launched SIA-CAG MICE incentive, Singapore is clearly an even more attractive MICE destination and transit hub for passengers travelling to other destinations on the SIA network,” added Ms. Ong.

SIA Singapore Explorer Pass - Passport to Singapore's Best Attractions
Travelers now have the option to add the Singapore Airlines one-day SIA Singapore Explorer Pass (SGEP) at a special deal of USD36. Free Singapore Tour
Another feature of this partnership is the enhanced Free Singapore Tour, a perennially popular programme that brings transit passengers on a free guided tour of Singapore’s vibrant nightlight cityscape, cultural heritage attractions and city skyline. The recently refreshed programme boasts longer itineraries that now cover new and major iconic sights, two photo stops, nine tour timings across day and night, as well as the introduction of seasonal routes during festive periods, all aimed at providing a more in-depth experience of Singapore.
