‘A Midsummer Day’s Dream’ at the Museum of the Order of St. John

Museum of the Order of St. John, garden

Time for tea & fizz and an opportunity to discover this hidden gem in the heart of London

A national treasure, the historic Museum of the Order of St. John in London, will be opening its doors to events planners and corporate clients on Wednesday 1st July and hosting  a complimentary VIP ‘Midsummer Day’s Dream’ Champagne Tea to mark the official launch of its eight unique and diverse venue areas.  Events planners and corporate clients can register interest in receiving complimentary tickets to the Champagne Tea on the museum’s website.

An ideal opportunity to explore this fascinating venue, guests will be able to venture into all the diverse and evocative spaces available for hire, from the imposing 16th century Chapter Hall and Council Chamber to the sleek and airy Museum Galleries and the stately Priory Church of the Order of St John, with its Norman crypt and scented herb garden. To enhance the atmosphere further, a repertoire of live music and extracts from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ will be performed.

Popular with a wide range of prestigious clients, from law firms and City of London liveries to design consultancies and global corporations, the Museum of the Order of St John is truly a venue with a difference, as clients have testified:

“Thank you for being so helpful and making our conference such a pleasant day. Everybody loved the venue – and they are a discerning group of people who have very high standards. The Curator’s fascinating and appropriate choice of artefacts was much commented upon. Your volunteers were splendid and very knowledgeable. I would certainly highly recommend the Museum of the Order of St John as a conference venue.”

“I always compare the Museum of the Order of St John to a step back in time,” comments Juliet Barker, the museum’s Marketing, Events and Development Co-ordinator. “The moment you walk in the door you are catapulted into a world many lifetimes away from the hustle and bustle of London as we know it today, which makes it an unforgettable place to hold a special event.”
