The premier league of the UK pub industry to feature in PUB15 seminar programme

Leading pubco entrepreneurs, industry experts, trade media and sought after suppliers are confirmed as headline speakers and panellists at this year’s PUB15, the new trade show dedicated to the UK pub industry. Taking place at Olympia on 18th and 19th February 2015, PUB15 is the must-attend, free event for anyone connected with Britain’s burgeoning pub sector.

Integral to PUB15 is a thought provoking and informative seminar programme offering inspiration, advice and first-hand knowledge from the brains behind some of Britain's most successful bars. Covering all the essentials needed to run and manage a profitable pub the Business Sessions, supported by Elliotts, tackle the hottest topics in the sector, offering the viewpoints of the industry’s best known movers and shakers.

Gastro pub legend, Tom Kerridge, tops the bill, sharing his secrets of taking the successful Hand and Flowers to star studded Michelin success. MD of Whiting & Hammond, Brian Whiting reviews the landlord landscape in a session led by ALMR (Association of Licenced Multiple Retailers) Chief Executive, Kate Nicholls, whilst Lee Cash, Founder and Owner of Peach Pubs, joins the debate on career opportunities in the pub business, revealing how he keeps his 500 strong staff motivated. In addition Nick Miller, CEO of Meantime Brewery, talks craft and beer positioning with leading beer journalists and bloggers Sophie Atherton and Pete Brown.

Co-founder of Yummy Pub Co, Tim Foster, explores the virtues of premium products to pimp up pub margins in a session led by Inapub editor, Matt Eley. Backed by expert opinion from Simon Stenning of strategic research consultancy, Allegra Strategies, global giant Diageo and premium fruit juice supplier, Frobishers, the session explores how elevating your product offering can heighten your customers’ experience and your profits.

Wine importer, producer and distributor, Boutinot, offers advice and wine tips matched to your pub, menu and location, whilst James Nye, MD of Anglian Country Inns and Richard Holmes, founder of original ‘Beer House’ inspired Pint Shop, are joined by food and equipment suppliers Fresh Direct and Lockhart Catering Equipment to explore the future trends in pub dining.

Ripe for expansion and entrepreneurialism, Paul Charity heads up two sessions focused on propelling your future pub business success. Helping publicans find the perfect pitch for their new business he’ll be joined by Ben Stackhouse of London based pubco Pub Love along with Associate Partner of Caci Ltd, Nielsen Harrap, who specialises in location planning to the leisure and retail sectors and Neil Morgan of Christie & Co, who advise or transact over 6,000 pubs on an annual basis. On the second day he’ll be offering an insider’s view to investment in the pub sector, with contributions from mainstream financial institutions such as Barclays and Liberis as well as popular, alternative equity generating initiatives such as the successful crowd sourcing incentive, ‘Equity for Punks’ delivered by craft beer brand Brew Dog, raising over £4.25m in 2013 to aid the brands brewing and bar expansion.
