Heritage Motor Centre launches full programme of shows & events for 2015

The Heritage Motor Centre has launched a full programme of exciting and unique shows and events for 2015. The Events Calendar is available to download from the centres website or on request by telephone.
Tom Caren, Show Manager at the HMC said “We are urging people to get the dates for the shows in their diaries and their vehicles booked in early to avoid disappointment. We’ve got some great deals for Clubs but also welcome individual entries.”

As well as the regular shows such as the Classic & Vintage Commercial Show, Banbury Run, Retro Truck Show and BMW Festival, there are a number of new events for 2015. These include the Gaydon Classic Car Show which takes place on 24 May and will feature motorised vehicles of all ages from cars through to military and emergency services vehicles. The other new event at Gaydon this year is the long awaited return of the Land Rover Show which takes place on 27 & 28 June and will cover all aspects of the world of Land Rovers.

In addition the centre has announced a new lecture and workshop programme including a lecture by the Curator on the story of the Gas Turbine Engine and the Rover BRM from the Heritage Motor Centres collection. Back by popular demand are two Classic Virgin Experience Days on 18 April and 19 September. These hands-on, informative days are aimed at those considering buying a classic car. Participants learn about choosing a car, finance, insurance, club support and the social scene, plus some “hands on” experience to learn about car maintenance as well as the chance to ride in a range of classic cars on country roads.
