Other images in the series, which also marked 160 years of postage stamp usage in Malaysia, include the wonders and beauty of Kuala Lumpur, flora and fauna and cultural and architectural heritage of Malaysia.

Thanking Pos Malaysia for their double ‘stamp of approval’, a delighted Alan Pryor, General Manager of the Centre, said, “it is indeed an honour for the Centre to be both the venue of choice for the prestigious WYSE and to be chosen as one of seven images for the special set of miniature sheets.”

The biggest, first-of-its-kind philatelic event in the world featuring over 300 stamp exhibitors from around the globe, the WYSE was organised by the Communications and Multimedia Ministry, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Philatelic Society Malaysia and Pos Malaysia.
