Re-launched Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show returns to Stamford Bridge

Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show, Great Hall at Stamford Bridge
The re-launched Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show returned to the Great Hall at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club, this week.
The exhibition, which showcased one of the largest ranges of promotional merchandise and licensed products across the sporting industry returned to Stamford Bridge after an eight-year break.

The exhibition saw over 80 exhibitors in the venue’s iconic 1,400m2 exhibition space, attracting visitors from a range of British and European football clubs, other sports associations and teams from around the globe, as well as retailers, distributors and licensing agencies. This year the show was given an all-new November date designed for better conversation surrounding the autumn/winter 2015 product ranges.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Brand at Chelsea Football Club said: ‘We are immensely proud to see the 2014 show return to Stamford Bridge. The Great Hall provides the perfect solution for exhibition organisers searching for a blank canvas events space in London, and our rich sporting heritage perfectly suits the subject matter for the Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show.’

Chris Roberts of Arena Imaging added: ‘We were delighted to see the show return to Stamford Bridge, the original home of the Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show. Stamford Bridge offers exhibition organisers ultimate flexibility and a range of event solutions which we’ve simply not experienced elsewhere, and its vast range of on-site facilities, including restaurants and accommodation options, means that exhibitors and visitors are offered a one-stop destination.’

In addition, exhibitors and invited guests attended a pre-show networking event at Under the Bridge, the venue’s versatile live music venue, on Sunday 16 November.
