World Forum introduces a real-time control room on a tablet

The World Forum in The Hague is offering its clients the opportunity to use closed-circuit television (CCTV) live streaming at their conferences and events.

The World Forum is specialised in the field of safety and security. CCTV live streaming is one of the innovative new services in this area that is being offered to clients. This innovation enables conference and event organisers to view the live streams from all the CCTV cameras at the World Forum on a tablet computer throughout the event.

The live streams are made available through a secure connection that can only be established by logging onto the internal network using the tablet. The IDIS mobile program is used for this in the form of an application. The client’s security experts can use the flexible device to view the CCTV images on location. This means they always have a real-time control room in their pocket, giving them the freedom to move around the venue without being tied to a temporary control room. It is an economical service that provides added flexibility and safety.

‘We are specialised in the field of safety and security as a conference venue. Offering CCTV live streaming on a device is an extremely innovative development within this sector. The World Forum will roll out more services and products in this field in the months ahead,’ says Marije Bouwman, Safety and Security Manager at the World Forum.
