RIBA Venues launches personal AV service offering for meeting planners

RIBA Venues has announced it has partnered with TSPRO Audio, Allen & Heath and Shure UK to offer meeting planners a personal AV service which includes technology for webstreaming, conference filming and broadcast quality audio recording.

As part of the venue’s first major AV upgrade in 15 years, it will create a new AV production room adjacent to its auditorium equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology, new computer systems and video services which will offer clients a service that is tailored to their exact requirements.

The new equipment includes an Allen and Heath digital mixing console, Panasonic pan tilt zoom cameras, a completely upgraded Active QSC sound system, separate camera and computer vision mixing systems and a Shure digital audio management system which manages the audio channels and processes speech.

RIBA Head of Venues, Stephanie Ellrott, says: “Our new audio system exceeds broadcast requirements and offers clients a whole host of technical capabilities and interactivity to aid their events.”

“The system is also fully programmable and means we are now able to offer both live webstreaming and video on demand services to our clients.”

The AV upgrade will be available from mid-August for clients using the venue for their events.
