Party Ingredients hosts largest ever event at the National Maritime Museum

On the 8th July, Party Ingredients hosted the largest ever event held at the National Maritime Museum, for a gala celebration for 1100 guests following an international conference at ExCeL London.
With international guests from as far afield as Japan, the USA and India, the food emulated the worldly gathering, with Meze Markets from the East, to country garden Risotto bars from the West.

Making their way through the museum, guests were greeted in the Sammy Ofer Wing of the museum with Street Market stalls laden with feasts, served in palm leaf boats. With the British weather just about holding, guests were also able to enjoy the spectacular outdoor Colonnade area with views of the historic "park and palace" landscape of maritime Greenwich.  

Leading into the grand Neptune Court Upper Deck, Port-side featured Italian tortellini and risotto bars, with Starboard-side presenting traditional English wares including bars with the Summer favourite, Pimms, combined with fish and chips served in newspaper cones. Uncovering stately home style silver domes, uniformed chefs revealed roast meats which were carved live, accompanied by a wide variety of relishes.  

Dessert frivolities of sorbet balls, individual soufflés and shots of triple chocolate mousse, paired with exotic fruits provided interest and delight for guests whilst they were entertained with music, disco and dancing under the dramatic glass-roofed Upper Deck.
