Association sees 11% revenue increase in Christmas bookings for 2014

Unique Venues of London reports an increase of 11% corporate Christmas revenues for 2014, compared to last year. The results are based on a recent spot poll taken from 70 of the association’s members at a workshop held at The Tower of London on 14th July 2014.

The poll was designed to calculate the year-on-year percentage increase in Christmas bookings from 2013. It highlights a returning client confidence to the market and indicates that spend on hospitality in the festive season is once again increasing.  

Commenting on these results, chair of Unique Venues of London, Moya Maxwell, said: “Following the successful reception of our rebrand and 21st anniversary celebrations, these results are very encouraging. They certainly reinforce the ebullient view in the meetings and events industry that the market is back. The Christmas events sector is one of the most creative and competitive, and it is great to see our members already confirming business for their 2014 packages.”  

Unique Venues of London is celebrating the anniversary of its 21st year in business, recently commemorated at the Royal Academy of Arts, with a complete brand refresh. In addition to a reimagined corporate logo, branding and colour palate, a dynamic new website has been launched to better engage with current and potential clients to help them find a unique venue that best suits their requirements.
