Brighton Dome launches ‘Create’ competition at The Meetings Show

Brighton Dome launched a new creative competition for event planners and meeting organisers at the 2014 Meetings Show at London’s Olympia, on a joint stand with VisitBrighton, between 8-10 July.  
Visitors to stand F7 were given a ‘creative kit’ which could also be requested from the Brighton Dome website, and encouraged to get creating to be in with a chance to win a VIP weekend in Brighton with £200 spending money.

Once a masterpiece was produced, creators were asked to take a picture and tweet using the handle @brightdomeconf and hashtag #BrightonDomeCreate on Twitter or Instagram.  

The competition will run until 26 September 2014 when a winner will be selected at random. The VIP weekend on 08 November 2014 includes a night and breakfast at The Grand hotel, tickets to see 'Passenger' at Brighton Dome, a private capsule ride on the Brighton Wheel and a £200 shopping spree in Churchill Square mall.  

Andrew Comben, Chief Executive of Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival commented: “We are really looking forward to seeing some of the creative masterpieces that our stand visitors and others come up with. We hope as many event planners and meeting organisers as possible will take part in the competition.”
