ICC Birmingham secures new deal with Savers Health and Beauty

The International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham will welcome the Savers Annual Conference to the venue for the first time in September. Savers will hold a one day event followed by an awards dinner and after party at the purpose built conference venue. The deal was agreed by Account Director, Lisa Cook, who has extensive experience of the ICC having been there for more than eight years.

Lisa used her knowledge of the venue to offer the client a creative solution for their event requirements; as a result the ICC’s Mall will be closed to the public on the evening of the Savers event and will be dressed to provide a unique space for their awards dinner.  

Savers, part of the same group as Superdrug, was acquired by A.S. Watson in 2000 and has since expanded aggressively. It currently runs over 280 stores, extending throughout England, Scotland and Wales and has plans to significantly enhance its store base in the coming years.
