Customer survey reveals Event Organisers adore Messe Stuttgart and the ICS

Consulting, support and service of the Guest Events division achieve customer satisfaction ratings of over 90%.

In 2013, Messe Stuttgart and the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart were again among the most popular event locations in Germany. 107 companies and institutions brought their trade fairs, congresses and events to the exhibition grounds, welcoming almost 350,000 visitors and guests. Together with around 35 self-organized events, these guest events fill the halls and conference rooms and are, therefore, an important factor in the success of Messe Stuttgart.

And this success is no coincidence. The results of the latest customer satisfaction survey show that the Guest Events division of Messe Stuttgart scores most highly with its consulting, service and support.

The results of the customer satisfaction survey reflect the high quality of Messe Stuttgart and the ICS, with 100% of event organisers stating that their guests and visitors were satisfied or very satisfied. Two-thirds would definitely recommend Messe Stuttgart and the ICS to others as an event location, and a further quarter would probably recommend them. Last year, almost 80% of customers brought their events to the Filder area for at least a second time.

This hugely encouraging response from the customers is due in particular to their high level of satisfaction with the support given by the Guest Events team and its partners. More than 90% assign ratings of “very satisfied” or “satisfied” to the services provided, which range from initial consultation to project management and technical implementation. “These results even exceed the high level achieved last year”, says Stefan Lohnert, Division Director Guest Events at Messe Stuttgart, delighted by the positive customer feedback. “I think this shows the first signs of the success of our restructuring measures.” Since September 2013, the division has adopted an industry-oriented cluster strategy and also provides customers with single-source support services throughout the exhibition grounds.

Furthermore, Messe Stuttgart and the ICS boast a comprehensive range of impressive facilities. Two-thirds of the respondents said that the grounds’ excellent transport links were an important criterion when choosing this location in the Filder region. Almost half of them also mentioned the grounds’ good infrastructure and the compelling architecture.

The customer satisfaction survey is based on the feedback of companies and institutions that had hosted events at Messe Stuttgart or the ICS in the course of 2013.
