Aéroscopia will add the excitement of aeronautics to events

This year will see the opening of an exciting new museum in Toulouse, France, that will be an attractive venue for conferences and incentives.
Called Aéroscopia, it will be a unique museum dedicated to aeronautics, based in the city that builds the Airbus.

The new museum plus the possibility of visiting the Airbus assembly line plus the Cité de l’Espace (Space City) theme park will make Toulouse stand out globally as the place to visit for groups of every age.

‘It will, says Toulouse, ‘not only enhance the reputation of Toulouse’s extraordinary aeronautic heritage, but it will inspire young people to take a deep interest in this field of endeavour and discovery.'

More than 30 types of civil and military aircrafts will be on display and 110 000 visitors are expected within the first year.

Built on an area of 66000 sqm (710,000 sqft) alongside the A380 assembly line and near the future Congress Center, Aéroscopia has been designed in the format of an aircraft fuselage. There will be a hall of 7,800 sqm (84,000 sqft) where the Airbus A300B, the Concorde and the Super Guppy and smaller aircraft will be on display.

There will also be a range of other spaces: an open air exhibition air of 6,000 sqm (65,000 sqft); a welcome area of 1,600 sqm (17000 sqft); an indoor mezzanine and two linking skywalks. Aéroscopia will offer a rich educational programme, an exhibition, animation, festivals, academic and cultural gatherings.

In 2016 ‘Ferme Pinot’ will be opened. This will be based on a 300-yr-old property that will include restaurants, an information centre, an auditorium, meeting rooms and classrooms. Aéroscopia will be able to host 1 000 people at receptions and 350 people for a banquet. There will be facilities for team building, treasure hunts and shows.
