Lord’s reveals exclusive corporate offerings during Bicentenary launch

Lord’s last night rang in the Ground’s 200th anniversary by revealing a selection of corporate offers at its Bicentenary launch event and Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne were confirmed as captains in this year’s MCC v Rest of the World match at Lord’s.

Members of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) were joined by MCC President Mike Gatting and corporate partners in Lord’s historic Long Room as a year-long programme of celebratory events was revealed. Alongside a festival of cricket, gala dinners and a selection of commemorative artwork and memorabilia, Lord’s has launched two limited-time corporate offerings in honour of the Ground’s Bicentenary:
Outfield Marquee available for corporate hire
On selected dates in October, Lord’s will invite corporate clients to treat their guests to experience 200 years of the Ground’s history first-hand. A marquee with a capacity of 350 guests will be erected in the Ground and will be available for exclusive hire.

This year, for those attending an event in the Outfield Marquee, areas of the Ground usually reserved for MCC members and players will be accessible for the first time. Guests will be encouraged to explore the Ground, from the historic Long Room, housed in the Grade II* Listed Pavilion, to the players’ Dressing Rooms and the MCC Museum, which holds one of the world’s largest collections of cricket memorabilia.

Prices for exclusive hire of the marquee are available on request.

Hospitality Packages
In addition to a full 2014 fixture list, hospitality packages will be available for a commemorative match: MCC v Rest of the World, which will be hosted on Saturday 5th July.  Tendulkar and Warne, who are both Honorary Life Members of the Club, will lead the MCC and Rest of the World teams respectively in the Lord’s Bicentenary 50-over celebratory match.

MCC's XI will be managed by Club President Mike Gatting and will also include Tendulkar’s former India teammate Rahul Dravid. Overseeing the Rest of the World XI will be the ex-South Africa all-rounder and MCC World Cricket committee member Shaun Pollock.

Past international skippers will play host to guests of the Captains’ Lounge hospitality package and a three-course lunch prepared by executive chef Tim Harrington will be accompanied by fine wines, fresh coffee and afternoon tea. Prices start from £349 per person.

The Marylebone Suite hospitality package will offer a premium location next to guests’ seats in the Mound Stand. Prices start from £329 per person.
