Science Museum to open Flight gallery for daytime hire for the first time

The Science Museum in South Kensington has announced that the Flight gallery is now available for daytime event bookings from January 2019. This is the first time that the space has been available to hire during the day. Styled as a replica air hanger and containing many significant objects in aviation history, the gallery will be available on an exclusive basis with limited dates available per month to still allow access to the public on a regular basis.

Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association announces KLM’s President and CEO Pieter Elbers as keynote event speaker

Aviation industry veteran Pieter Elbers will be the VIP guest at the annual dinner of the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) – an event which is now in its 89th year. It takes place in Glasgow on February 28, 2019.
Mr Elbers has worked with KLM for 26 years and during his speech to over 300 travel industry leaders from across the UK, he will discuss the future challenges and opportunities for the airline, which has an annual turnover of over €10bn.

Last Friday, Olympic long jump medallist Greg Rutherford re-created the 18ft jump originally undertaken by Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible – Fallout the movie, to launch the film being released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on December 3rd.
