Spanish Government declares FITUR an “Event of Exceptional Public Interest” for its contribution to the recovery of tourism In Spain

FITUR
This designation is a major gesture of institutional backing for IFEMA and its International Tourism Fair and acknowledges its work to encourage business development and recovery in the tourism sector.
The Event of Exceptional Public Interest (AEIP) category is included in the National Budget for 2021. It will provide exceptional support over three years and further encourage the revitalisation of Spain’s tourism industry and its image as a tourist destination.

Innovation network “Future Meeting Space”: digital event on 22 February 

Presentation of research results on the future role of events in the communication mix of organisations 
How important will events be in the communication mix of organisations in the future? Which type of new skills will be needed? What criteria can be used to measure the success of events? After 18 months of intensive research, the “Future Meeting Space” (FMS) innovation network of the GCB German Convention Bureau and Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO will present its latest research findings on these and other questions on 22 February 2021.

RTA to host World Congress of Intelligent Transportation Systems 2024

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will be the host of the World Congress of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS World Congress) 2024, which marks the first time this signature event is held in the region since launched in 1994. RTA was privileged by hosting the event following its nomination by ITS Europe, an organisation to which RTA has recently been affiliated.

The four-star resort located in Teddington, South West London, has unveiled ‘The Lensbury at Home’ to encourage both its members and the local business community to stay safe, well and active throughout the current national lockdown.
