21 metric tonnes of paper saved at events by using Poken

Poken, the Green Event Platform, today announces that over 21 metric tonnes of paper were saved at events in 2014, by replacing paper brochures and business cards with its Poken device.  
Poken’s event tools allow exhibitors to make their company and sales literature available to participants for digital collection.  By uploading their documents to a cloud-based service, exhibitors’ marketing collateral is then instantly available for pick-up by attendees at a show, using a mobile phone or an interactive USB stick which Poken provides attendees.

TravelSim launching flat unlimited worldwide data roaming billing

Telecoms innovator Top Connect today announces that its world’s leading pre-paid international mobile communications service TravelSim will introduce flat rate billing and unlimited 3G roaming from Q2, 2015. 
Flat rate roaming will apply only to existing and new subscribers of its data only package.  
TravelSim has been in lengthy negotiations with its worldwide network of tier 1 GSM carriers and agreement has now been reached with all to enable TravelSim to announce flat roaming charges covering 190 countries

Elavon and Amadeus join forces to make booking and paying for flights more seamless for travellers

Elavon, a leading global payments provider and subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, and Amadeus, a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, announced during the annual Elavon Travel Symposium that they have signed an agreement to integrate Elavon’s payment processing solutions into the Amadeus Payments Platform (APP).

Travelport becomes the first to offer a new industry-leading solution for airport express services
