This Autumn sees the exciting return of legendary 3 Michelin starred Chef Daniel Humm to Zurich, where he will play a guest role at the Michelin starred restaurant Pavillon at the Baur au Lac.
A native of Switzerland, Daniel’s exposure to the food world started at the tender age of 14, where he spent time crafting his skills in various kitchens, later moving on to working in some of Switzerland’s finest hotels and restaurants, including the Baur au Lac. Learning from the best and with his drive and passion for innovative cuisine Daniel was awarded his first Michelin star at the age of 24.

Having fully established himself as a leading name on the New York restaurant scene, as chef and owner of Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad Restaurant and Bar at The NoMad Hotel, Daniel will return to Zurich this Autumn to introduce his award winning fare. With a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients and an emphasis on simplicity and purity, Daniel will showcase his traditional and innovative cuisine to the city through various promotions. On 28 September he will treat the passerby’s in the city centre with the launch his famous ‘Humm Dog’.

Daniel Humm will present a 12 course menu at the Baur au Lac’s Pavillon restaurant for guests and visitors to sample.
