The CHS Group UK described this year’s Meetings Show - two-days of non-stop quality contacts, major meet-ups, great introductions and networking opportunities with industry professionals – as its best one to date.

Emma Cartmell, CEO of CHS Group UK, said: “Condensing the event to two days had a really positive impact as it has allowed us to concentrate and focus our activities, and we took almost 200 high-quality appointments of one-to-ones with industry professionals looking for business opportunities.

“We were able to showcase some hidden gems from our 18 independently owned hotels and venues from around the UK, presenting them to buyers who have the potential to deliver a conference audience and portfolio of new clients, directly to them. 

“All of the visitors had a real sense of purpose and focus and the energy in the room was amazing.  As ever, the quality of speakers, sharing their insights, were excellent and we were impressed by some of the industry innovations shared at the event.” 

The Meetings Show is the premier event for inbound and outbound meetings in the event industry in the UK. Since its launch in 2012, it’s become one of the must-attend exhibitions for event, meeting, conference and incentive planners for the UK and Europe. Delegates get to connect and network with thousands of professionals and discover the latest industry innovations.

Emma continues: “Congratulations to David Chapple and his team for putting on a great event.  The attendance gets better every year and we were particularly pleased with the footfall that we got with our stand.  We made the most our space and were delighted to welcome some faces, old and new, to the Delegate Wranglers Meet Up and drinks reception on day one.”
