Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau offers a slice of healing power at The Meetings Show 2018

Healing Garden at the Botanic Gardens, Singapore
The Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau™ (SECB) is bringing a taste of Singapore’s Garden City to The Meetings Show 2018 from 27-28 June in a bid help to boost participants’ wellbeing. Inspired by the Healing Garden at the Botanic Gardens, the ‘Healing Corner’ will allow visitors to discover how the power of plants can heal and enhance life.

Visitors to SECB’s booth, B200, will also have the chance to enter a competition to win prizes on stand. Contestants will need to find the ‘common name’ of the medicinal plants on display using the description, their scientific name and their appearance/smell. Ten winners will be chosen at random, via a lucky draw amongst those who correctly guess the correct answers.

The Healing Garden at Botanic Gardens Singapore is the largest medicinal garden of its scale in the region, displaying over 400 varieties of plants used medicinally. This lush sanctuary in the heart of the city spans over 2.5 hectares and includes common everyday plants found in Southeast Asia that have medicinal properties.

Known as the Garden City, Singapore’s world famous leisure and business attractions feature miles of hidden parkland and stunning flora and fauna, including places such as the iconic Gardens by the Bay and The Botanic Gardens – Singapore’s First UNESCO World Heritage Site.
