Make sure you get to mix with them
Taking place at the Frankfurter Messe from 12 to 14 May 2020, IMEX will once again be an exhilarating exhibition with something to inspire and update everyone in the global MICE sector.
There will be over 3,400 exhibitors from at least 170 countries.
But IMEX has now grown into something much more than an exhibition Even before the exhibition opens, the previous day, 11 May, will be EduMonday, totally dedicated to education for all levels of MICE professionals.
Throughout the whole IMEX 2020 event there will be opportunities for visitors to meet suppliers, to get abreast of the latest techniques and ideas and to network with experienced people in this specialised aspect of global business.
The 250 or more networking events will embrace Educational Seminars, Campfires (small informal sessions), an Agency Directors Forum, Expert Clinics, a Research Pod, an Exclusively Corporate get-together and a She Means Business meeting.
Naturally, IMEX 2020 will finish with an unrivalled Gala Dinner, where some of the new friendships and business connections can be cemented in a celebratory environment.
IET London: Savoy Place will be exhibiting at IMEX in Frankfurt (stand F340), taking place between 15-17 May 2018.
As the UK headquarters of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), IET London: Savoy Place is one of the UK’s leading venues for STEM events (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and welcomes many high-profile partners and brands from the STEM sector each year.
Visitors to Hamburg Convention Bureau’s stand at IMEX in Frankfurt can step inside one of Europe's largest convention centres and virtually explore the redeveloped venue’s 50 halls in advance of its official opening.
“To have access to such a huge range of high calibre speakers is indispensable and we’re confident they’ll inspire new ideas and fresh approaches. We’ve carefully curated our education programme to offer timely, creative insight that’s relevant to meetings industry veterans, those about to enter the industry, and everyone in between.” Carina Bauer, CEO of the IMEX Group, explains why the comprehensive programme of free education – alongside the vast array of exhibitors – is a reason not to miss IMEX in Frankfurt, taking place 15 – 17 May.
The IMEX Group is again demonstrating its commitment to encouraging best practice in sustainability within the meetings industry worldwide. It is joining with the Event Industry Council (EIC) in promoting the IMEX- EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award.
“How can the meetings and events industry most effectively contribute to the development of regions and cities in a world environment where globalisation, urbanisation and the free movement of people are changing the structure of society and the way we live?”
