The new series of ‘pop-up’ evenings aboard, luxury UK day trains, Belmond British Pullman and Belmond Northern Belle, hosted by an array of award-winning celebrity chefs, together with Executive Head Chef Robbie Gleeson, is announced for 2015.
Following the success of last year’s dinners, the ‘pop-ups’ are now highly anticipated events on the trains’ annual calendars.
Eurostar, the high speed rail service between the UK and mainland Europe, today reported continuing growth in passenger numbers and sales revenues in 2014, as the business celebrated its 20th anniversary and unveiled its new e320 trains.
Last year, passenger numbers rose by 3% to 10.4 million (2013: 10.1 million) bringing the total number of passengers travelling on Eurostar since the start of services in 1994 to over 150 million. 2014 sales revenues increased by 1% to £867 million (2013: £857 million).
Today St Pancras International has scored the highest for customer satisfaction for a train station in Passenger Focus’ Autumn 2014 National Passenger Survey, earning a rating of 96 per cent. The result marks the seventh successive year that St Pancras has topped the National Passenger Survey. For Autumn 2014, the station has seen its satisfaction ratings improve further across key areas such as the quality of facilities and services available and the provision of information for customers.

Today, St Pancras International is set to change the way consumers interact with the station as it becomes the first UK train station to launch its own app. The new free app gives users a chance to delve into the history of the Grade 1 listed building, pick up facts about the area and even hear about special retail offers before anyone else based on their preferences.
