Europe's top ladies get in shape for World Cup at La Manga Club

La Manga Club has become a centre of excellence for women’s football this month (January) after four of Europe’s top international teams headed to the luxury resort for warm weather training breaks.
Norway, ranked fourth in Europe, England (fifth), Netherlands (eighth) and Spain (ninth) all took the chance to work on their skills at the award-winning Murcian venue ahead of important World Cup qualifying matches coming up in the next three months.

Fukuoka City ranked second in Japan for meetings

Fukuoka International Congress Center offers 3,000 pax plenary
In the recently released 2012 statistics and rankings by the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO), a governmental body under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Fukuoka City was, once again, ranked second in Japan with a total of 252 meetings. This means the city has captured this position for the last 4 consecutive years.

Kaiser Chiefs to kick off Silverstone British Grand Prix

Adding to the glitz and glamour of this year’s FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX (04 - 06 July), Silverstone Circuits Limited has announced that indie rock band and three-time Brit Award winners, Kaiser Chiefs, will be kicking off the UK’s premier motor racing event in style, performing the first of five UK summer tour dates on the evening of Thursday 03 July.

The QEIICC sees 300 per cent increase in events using social media:

TEDx Houses of Parliament, World Gas Forum, StemTech UK, Start Up Britain and the World Health Organisation amongst clients

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (the QEIICC), has seen a 300 per cent increase in the number of client companies that use social media to promote their events at the Centre.
The three fold increase was recorded in the last six month of 2013 – measured against the first six months of the same year.
