Ralph Lauren, Warner Brothers and Goldman Sachs among guests at museum showcase

Strictly SW7, the celebrated showcase event hosted by the Science Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and Natural History Museum, returned for its third time last night (4th March).
Companies such as Ralph Lauren, Warner Brothers and Goldman Sachs were among the 220 guests who attended the exclusive event. Guests were divided into three groups, each one enjoying the reception, main course and dessert at a different museum, exchanging places at two separate intervals in the evening.

Mayor gets Apprenticeship Week off to a ‘frying start’ in London

The Mayor of London got Apprenticeship Week cooking in the capital by revealing plans to create 7,000 new apprenticeship positions in the catering industry. The announcement takes him a step closer to achieving his target of 250,000 apprenticeships in London by 2016.

Lane End Conference Centre launches incentive scheme to mark 45th anniversary 

Lane End Conference Centre, Buckinghamshire celebrates its 45th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the independent training and development centre is launching a new incentive scheme to reward advocates of the venue.
The initiative is designed to recognise and reward clients and venue finding agencies who recommend the centre to colleagues and industry contacts.

Girbakran Balachandran receives certification from Ministry of Health Malaysia as Centre’s first Food Handlers Trainer

Girbakran Balachandran receives certification from Ministry of Health Malaysia as Centre’s first Food Handlers Trainer

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s (MoH) Food Safety and Quality Division following a venue inspection which confirms the Centre meets all food safety and quality requirements. The sanction by the MoH means the venue can now conduct its own in-house food safety and quality training.
