HMS Belfast hosts a Brazilian Carnival   

To celebrate the kick off to the 2014 Football World Cup, HMS Belfast is to launch a Brazilian Carnival theme for their summer party packages. Originally a Royal Navy light cruiser, HMS Belfast is now permanently moored in London on the River Thames at the Queen's Walk and is part of IWM (Imperial War Museums).

High profile organisations sign up for York’s second London based showcase ‘York Minster to Westminster 2014’

Buyers from organisations including The Royal Society of Medicine, The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and CIPFA (the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy) will attend VisitYork4Meetings’ second annual York Minster to Westminster showcase, which will take place at the Houses of Parliament and The Queen Elizabeth 11 Conference Centre, Westminster on 5 March 2014.

Vienna to host thousands-strong renal congress

Prague-based company will handle large part of the admin

In June 2016 the Austria Center Vienna will be the venue for one of Europe’s largest annual congresses. The 53rd European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) Congress – will be attended by delegates counted in thousands. The President of the Congress will be Professor Dr Gert Mayer, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Medical University Innsbruck, a specialist in nephrology and hypertension.

MICE industry comes together for charity event

125 Industry professionals gathered at Grosvenor House on Monday night (27 January) to raise funds for a work experience programme for young adults with autism. A total of $35,000 (USD) was raised by the suppliers attending the HB Cares event with the support of the MPI Foundation (MPIF) and Meeting Industry Meeting Needs (MIMN).
