Successful Toy Fair returns to the Heritage Motor Centre

After the success of last year’s fair, the Heritage Motor Centre is to host another Toy and Collectors Fair on Sunday 27 April. The event is yet again expected to attract hundreds of visitors. Over 100 exhibitors from all over the UK will be show-casing a range of collectables from old and new toys such as teddy-bears and dolls, to car, bus, plane and train models.

Last night Prince Philip House, which is part of the Harbour & Jones Events venue collection, welcomed over 170 industry professionals including Barclays, National Grid, Incisive Media, Kuoni, HSBC, Black Diamond and Melon Events to its ‘Tour of the Senses’ which invited guests to explore the weird and wonderful effects of the senses and their impact on our eating experience.

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre to participate in Earth Hour

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) will be participating in ‘Earth Hour’ this coming Saturday (29th March 2014) at 8.30pm.   Earth Hour is a worldwide initiative created by environmental charity WWF whereby millions of buildings across the globe turn off their lights for one hour. WWF organised Earth Hour to highlight its aim of a sustainable future for the planet. The QEIICC will be joining other landmark buildings across the world - from Big Ben and Buckingham Palace to the Eiffel Tower and the Empire State Building.

St James’ Park – home to Newcastle United – is one of the region’s foremost conference and event venues, hosting everything from small meetings to large scale conferences and even X-Factor auditions.

Offering a flavour of the eagerly anticipated Zayed National Museum, TCA Abu Dhabi has collaborated with the British Museum to present A History of the World in 100 Objects; an inspiring exhibition that captures both the history of the world and the significant role the Middle East has played within it, through a vivid display of compelling objects.
