Wyboston Lakes rated 'outstanding' in Sunday Times ‘Best Companies’ survey

Conference, training and leisure venue Wyboston Lakes has achieved a two out of a possible three-star rating in the prestigious Sunday Times ‘Best Companies’ accreditation standard. The two-star status, awarded on the basis of employee feedback, means that the venue is considered an ‘outstanding’ employer in terms of the way it engages with its staff.

ACC Liverpool to welcome thousands of diabetes healthcare professionals

ACC Liverpool is set to welcome thousands of experts to the Diabetes UK Professional Conference 2014, one of the UK’s largest healthcare meetings.
Around 3,000 professionals and scientists will attend the three day event at the venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, from March 5 to 7.  It was last held at ACC Liverpool in 2010.

New £1.5M event and conference hall nears completion at the Kent Event Centre

A new £1.5 million conference and events facility is due to open at the Kent Event Centre near Maidstone this spring, strengthening its position as the largest and most flexible venue in the region.
The new single span building is already attracting business to the Detling site – the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce has chosen to use the space to host its annual Construction Expo in October 2014.

Boris Johnson backs 2014 Sustainable Events Summit

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson has again thrown his support behind the Sustainable Events Summit, taking place on 18 February at 30 Euston Square.
In a letter to Rick Stainton, co-founder of the Sustainable Events Summit and Managing Director of Smyle, Boris Johnson wrote: “We are delighted to support the Sustainable Events Summit in its mission to share knowledge and learning from global brands and leaders in the events industry with the wider events industry.
