Tech boost at Twickenham Stadium with new 100MB dedicated line

Conferences and events at Twickenham Stadium will now be able to access significantly increased bandwidth with the installation of a new dedicated 100MB line specifically for non-match day business.  This new development, which has seen over 50 kilometres of Cat 6A Cabling (allowing future data throughput speeds of up to 10GB) installed at the Home of England Rugby, is part of a wider £75m modernisation plan ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

TV antiques expert Charles Hanson attending fundraising event

The city’s Coventry Watch Museum is looking forward to welcoming TV antiques expert Charles Hanson to their fundraising event at the Ricoh Arena.
The valuer auctioneer from the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, Bargain Hunt and Flog It! will be at the Legends Lounge on Thursday, April 10 from 7.30pm when it is hoped £5,000 will be raised by around 250 guests for vital maintenance costs at the Museum.

Event organisers are being invited to get creative with events using imago’s ‘blank canvas’ – Holywell Park Conference Centre.
Holywell Park is a specialist conference and exhibition space which offers a large exhibition area, nine versatile meeting rooms and a well-equipped lecture theatre which can seat up to 200 delegates. The venue, part of imago’s portfolio of venues, also benefits from spacious break out areas, free Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art AV equipment and free parking.

Business Expo 3.0 is set to be the biggest yet

The second annual Business Expo 3.0 held at the Stadium MK, Milton Keynes is just around the corner and its organisers are confident it is on target to be the biggest business exhibition outside or London and Birmingham.
City leaders gathered this week to finalise details and offered their full support for the event that aims to attract over 5,000 delegates on Thursday 6 March. Council Leader, Andrew Geary, The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Brian White and MP, Iain Stewart, held a briefing meeting with event organiser and founder Victoria Beale.
