Historical London venue undergoes 21st Century revamp

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is currently undertaking a major refurbishment programme on its global headquarters, IET London: Savoy Place. Plans for an additional lecture theatre, room expansions and a transformation of the building’s layout are all underway to maximise its riverside location and enhance the visitor experience. The venue will also retain many of its original period features.

ACC Liverpool strikes trio of production deals

ACC Liverpool’s production team has won a series of contracts to provide technical services for three high profile conferences and exhibitions.
NHS Confederation, British Association of Urological Surgeons and Accelerate 2014 have all chosen to keep production and technical in-house at the venue, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, after competitive tender processes.

Perth to welcome 4500 Surgeons at conference in 2015

December 2013 saw Perth Convention Bureau (PCB) successfully secure the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress (RACS ASC 2015) for 2015. The College currently hosts an Annual Scientific Congress, attended by up to 3,500 surgeons from Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, India and the Middle East.

Florence to host 3 prestigious conferences in 2015

Florence wins, taking home three new conferences for 2015: the WEEF World Engineering Education Forum (International Forum on Engineering Education), the International Congress of Acoustics and Vibration (International Congress on Sound and Vibration) and the Annual Meeting EMEARC (Europe Middle East and Africa Regional Council) by OCLC, the largest cooperative network in the world of libraries and cultural organizations.
