Burleigh Court’s Natasha Hughes honoured in miaList 2014

Burleigh Court’s customer relations manager Natasha Hughes has been recognised in the miaList 2014.
The miaList recognises individuals from within the meetings industry who are willing to go that little bit further in pursuit of excellence for their client, employer or colleagues. Natasha was named as one of the 10 winners at a celebratory lunch at Church House Conference Centre on April 7.

Chefs from Durban ICC Graduate Programme to compete in Young Chefs competition

Durban ICC Graduate Programme Chefs
Three young chefs from the Durban International Convention Centre, all of whom are part of the Durban ICC’s Graduate Programme, are the set to compete in the regional Jeunes Chef Rôtisseurs (Young Chefs) Competition on the 9th April 2014. Sindi Ngiba, Sibekezelo Buthelezi and Jivashri Govender are highly talented and enthusiastic young chefs eager to show off their skills.

Arundel Castle, West Sussex to host MG Owner’s Club Gathering on 13 April 2014

Arundel Castle in West Sussex is set to play host to the Chichester MG Owner’s Club Gathering this Sunday 13 April 2014. 
The gathering will see over 150 stunning MGs descend on Arundel Castle’s Lower Lawns, forming a striking display of vintage cars against the picturesque backdrop of the 15th century Castle.

Australia to jointly host global arbitration conference

The world’s biggest arbitration event is coming to Australasia.

The International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) this week accepted a joint bid by Australia and New Zealand for its 2018 conference to be held in Sydney, with an add-on event in Queenstown.
ICCA is an UN-approved NGO devoted to promoting the use and improving the processes of arbitration, conciliation and other forms of resolving international commercial disputes.

Chester Cathedral adds Horseradish to list of preferred caterers  

Chester Cathedral has appointed event and hospitality supplier Horseradish as one of its preferred caterers for events held in the historic building.
Event organisers choosing Horseradish as their catering supplier will be able to utilise The Nave for formal dining for up to 500 people – the first time this opportunity has been available.
