Warwick Castle joins up for new China tourism campaign

Warwick Castle today became one of the first 100 companies across the UK to be awarded a new Chartermark declaring it is fit to welcome Chinese visitors.
The GREAT China Welcome Charter is a new initiative from VisitBritain to make Britain the destination of choice for the rapidly-growing Chinese market. Visitors from China have doubled in the last five years and tourism bosses hope they will treble again by 2020.

The Venetian Ball 2014 celebrates the launch of Best Buddies Macao

The Great Gatsby-themed evening marked the launch of Best Buddies Macao Association.

New look, new tickets and private tours of  Arundel Castle Gardens in 2014

The stunning gardens at Arundel Castle will re-open to the public on 01 April 2014 with a fresh look and several dazzling new features to delight green-fingered visitors throughout the year. 
A season ticket is now available for 2014, offering unlimited access to the grounds and gardens for just £30 a year. Private tours of the gardens for groups of 15 or more are also open for bookings including an exclusive forum with Head Gardener Martin Duncan.

Abu Dhabi tourism industry reports MICE and business events uplift

Abu Dhabi’s tourism industry is reporting a significant uplift in its MICE and business events bookings and is predicting the trend will continue.
Tourism stakeholders signed up to participate in the Gulf Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings Expo (GIBTM), which will run at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) from March 24-26, are optimistic about the sector’s local future.

Lord’s reveals 6% rise in demand during Bicentenary year

Lord’s Cricket Ground has announced that meetings and events bookings for 2014 are up by 6% compared to last year.
The Ground, which this year celebrates its 200th anniversary, has recently attracted corporate business from clients within the finance, retail and charity sectors. These bookings have helped the team to surpass 55% of the annual M&E budget within the first three months of the year.
