Houston hosts World Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine Conference

The American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) and the City of Houston are proud to host the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) World Conference on Acupuncture.  An integrative medicine theme has been added to the traditional acupuncture conference along with special guest, integrative medicine physician and author, Dr. Andrew Weil; offering a platform for Eastern medicine to meet with Western medicine.  Other important keynote speakers invited to present are Dr. Boli Zhang, Dr. Baoyan Liu and Dr. Lorenzo Cohen.

Women 1st announces date for 2014 Conference

Women 1st, the initiative that aims to increase the number of women working in senior positions in travel and the wider tourism and visitor economy sector, has announced that its third annual conference will be held at the Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square in London on 3 July 2014.

Robinson College steps into spring with new seasonal menus

Robinson College new food offering
Cambridge University’s award-winning conference venue, Robinson College, has launched its Spring/Summer menus, incorporating fresh, locally-sourced ingredients inspired by the new season.
The menus, available to conference bookers from March through to September, have been designed by head chef Gary Dougan to cater for a number of functions including buffets, receptions, dinners and banquets.

Kyoto welcomes major new conference facilities

  Kyoto Convention Bureau has welcomed the news that ROHM Theatre Kyoto (formerly the Kyoto Kaikan Hall) will be reopened in January 2016 as a venue for medium to large sized conference and meeting.
