Ever wanted to yell MUSH! while leading a team of husky dogs along a snowy wilderness trail?
Well now you don't have to travel to the frozen Arctic, as Farncombe Conference Centre, near Broadway, has introduced a new half-day team-building experience with participants learning the expert skills needed to handle a dog sled travelling at speed.

Manchester's EventCity wins the chance to host the Ideal Home Show

First time in the show’s 106 year history that the event is coming to the North of England

EventCity, the second largest exhibition space outside of London, is to host the Ideal Home Show from the 6th to 8th June 2014.
With 28,000 sq metres of space, free parking and 6.8 million of the UK’s most affluent consumers outside of London within a one hour drive time, EventCity is well placed to host the show which is venturing North for the first time in its 106 year history.

Dates Announced: 27 November – 14 December

The countdown is on and with only 267 days until Christmas, organisers of Bath Christmas Market, Bath Tourism Plus are pleased to announce the dates for this year’s event as 27 November – 14 December 2014.
Nationally recognised as the best Christmas market in England, Bath remains the only Christmas Market in the country to receive the Quality Rose Marque from National Tourist Board VisitEngland under the Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme.

Kate Adie to speak at First World War legacy conference at UniSpace Sunderland

UniSpace Sunderland, the conference and events arm of the University of Sunderland, will this week host an international conference exploring the legacy of the First World War, featuring Oscar-winning film producer and actor David Parfitt who will be screening his film ‘The Wipers Times’ and former BBC Chief News Reporter Kate Adie who will be discussing her book ‘The Great War: Fighting on the Home Front’.
