Agents don their Pinstripes and Pearls for record attendance at London City Selection Fam weekend

London City Selection fam trip
London City Selection (LCS) is celebrating this week following record attendance at its Pinstripes and Pearls themed annual agent experiential event at the weekend (March 7 – 9th). With 35 agents attending, including representatives from BI Worldwide and Venue Search London, the LCS team put together various vintage themed challenges at a number of the selection’s venues for the eight agent teams to complete.

Well, judging from an event in London at the end of last week, the answer to all three questions has to be ‘Yes!’

The world’s largest indoor illumination’s experience opens in Blackpool

April 18th will see the first new indoor attraction to open in Blackpool for more than twenty years as the £3m Illuminasia opens its doors in Olympia at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
Illuminasia will transform the 45,000 square feet of Olympia Arena into six magical zones featuring over 35,000 lights in a blend of traditional Chinese lantern crafts and the latest in lighting technology.

Landmark liver conference to inject $7.2 million into Brisbane economy

About 3,000 of the world’s brightest minds in hepatology will converge on the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) this week for a conference set to inject $7.2 million into the local economy. Delegates of The Asian Pacific Association for The Study of the Liver (APASL) will come from across the globe to deliberate on improved health care outcomes for people with liver disease.

Friends House have today unveiled the identity of its newest events space. The standalone venue, with its dedicated entrance, reception and facilities, will be known as The Light. Currently under construction, this inspiring and contemporary destination venue for London is due for completion later this year, before formally launching in January 2015.
