New museum district attracts visitors in the green heart of Copenhagen

With the launch of Parkmuseerne, visitors to Copenhagen may now saunter through green gardens and parks along a trail of museums.  The new museum district attracts visitors with interests in art, nature, history and film. Parkmuseerne consist of six participating museums: The David Collection, The Filmhouse, The Hirschsprung Collection, SMK (National Gallery of Denmark), The Natural History Museum of Denmark and Rosenborg Castle. The museums are all within walking distance of each other, and this spring Parkmuseerne are launching an advantageous combined ticket.

Robinson College announces new £5 million seminar building

The University of Cambridge’s Robinson College has unveiled plans to build a new £5 million seminar building to develop both its academic and award-winning conference facilities. 
Work on the new building is expected to start in July 2014 and finish in late summer 2015. The permanent structure has been designed to create extra space for academic requirements, with plans to make use of the additional facilities for the college’s meetings and events business.

Park Crescent Conference Centre unveils new theatre with masterclass event

Over 80 delegates attended the Park Crescent Conference Centre (PCCC) yesterday for an ‘Event Planning Masterclass’. The event was organised to celebrate the official reopening of the venue’s largest conference/events space, The Theatre, following a £250k makeover.
