T-Rex joins the party

It has just been confirmed that the terrifying flesh-eating Tyrannosaurus Rex will be joining the highly anticipated Natural History Museums exhibit - Dino Jaws - and it is already causing destruction in its wake.
This is just one of the many exciting exhibits coming to NEW DOCK Hall, Leeds as part of the Dino Jaws exhibition which is open to the public from 3rd June - 7th September 2014 – Just 5 weeks away!

Popping their corks at the Stadium of Light

Champagne lovers from across the North East will be popping their corks at a special event in Sunderland next week.
On Friday, May 9, the Stadium of Light will be hosting an evening dedicated to the world-famous bubbly, pairing a selection of Champagnes with the finest food from around the world.
The five course feast, provided by SAFC’s catering and hospitality arm 1879 Events Management, will begin with tempura chicken strips, rolled in sesame seeds with a lime and ginger dressing and a Chinese duck spring roll, served with spring onion and cucumber julienne and a sweet plum sauce.

National Railway Museum to host charity gala in celebration of the Grand Départ 2014

The National Railway Museum, York, is hosting a charity gala dinner on 5 July 2014, celebrating the world of cycling ahead of York's highly-anticipated Grand Départ 2014. In aid of charity, Ataxia UK, the Celebration of Cycling gala dinner is part of the National Railway Museum’s Tour de France celebration weekend*, where the Grand Départ will see participants cycling from York to Sheffield.
