The Premier Forum on Diabetes Technologies with a Delegate Record
The 13th International Conference on Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD 2020) took place 19-22 February in Madrid, Spain, and brought together more than 3800 prominent healthcare professionals from 81 countries, start-ups, and investors, reaching a new delegate record in a time marked by massive event cancellations.

Leeds’ success in hosting major international MIT innovation programme

Leeds and the City Region are proud to have recently hosted a prestigious international innovation programme, in partnership with one of the world’s most famous universities, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Delegates from Central Denmark, Monterrey (Mexico), Campania (Italy), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Kentucky, Oslo and Sydney visited the city for the three day programme, which was hosted in the UK’s iconic innovation hub, Nexus.

Ecology that makes you feel good – planet-friendly venues in Hamburg

With sustainability consistently topping the agenda for planners, Hamburg has a variety of planet-friendly venues that can help planners reduce the carbon footprint of their event.  
The new CCH - Congress Center Hamburg will open at the end of August 2020 and be the largest of its kind in Germany. It will offer more than 12,000 square meters of exhibition and foyer space, and 12,000 seats in up to 50 halls and rooms. Sustainability played a key role when the new CCH - Congress Center Hamburg was planned and built, and recognised principles, such as those of the German Society for Sustainable Construction (DGNB), have been applied.

Bruges welcomes prestigious conference UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism in 2020

During the 5th edition of the UNWTO World Forum on Gastronomy Tourism in San Sebastian in 2019, Flanders and the City of Bruges have officially been presented as host for the 6th edition of this top conference in 2020.
The Forum is organized by UNWTO and the Basque Culinary Centre (BCC) alternately in San Sebastian, Spain, and another host country.
