Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas is now open

The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. (SWRG), a collection of iconic American steakhouses headquartered in Boston, has opened the highly anticipated all new Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas restaurant inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas.

Returning to the Las Vegas Strip as the newest steakhouse in the city, Smith & Wollensky celebrated its long awaited return with a special Grand Opening celebration complete with a ceremonial Ribeye Cutting led by President and CEO Michael Feighery, Managing Partner Matthew Griffith and Vice President of Culinary Operations Matt King to commemorate the return to Las Vegas, as well as Kent and Lana Clark, the restaurant’s Ranch partners from Double R Ranch and John Zilliken, Sr. General Manager at Grand Canal Shoppes.

Boasting two stories, the all new classic steakhouse features a warm inviting atmosphere, complete with a tavern-like open concept bar and lounge, located off the promenade level, just steps away from the South Canal Turnaround. The upper level features an impressive wine wall and a peek-a-boo view into the proprietary dry-aging butcher room; intimate 18 seat bar outfitted with mirror hidden televisions; a luxurious lounge complete with leather tufted booths and Lincoln chairs; and an intimate all glass private room overlooking the bar and promenade; complete with several private dining rooms that are fully equipped with state-of-the-art A/V accommodations allowing for groups from 40 to 500.

Guests can enjoy over-the-top steak and wine experiences featuring renowned USDA Prime steaks and signature filets produced by Double R Ranch, hand-butchered and further enriched through in-house dry aging for 28 days, such as a 46 oz. porterhouse steak and a specialty 10 oz. coffee and cocoa rubbed filet, as well as premium seafood and award-winning wine lists, served with unparalleled hospitality for the ultimate Vegas steakhouse experience.
